Grammy-nominated rapper Joyner Lucas returned to Dewey Street, his childhood home in Worcester, MA to see it renamed in his honor. There was an ecstatic energy in the air, with a live DJ and food trucks as part of a large block party celebrating the street renaming.
The official unveiling of Joyner Lucas Street took place after remarks from Vice Chairman Khrystian King, Mayor Joseph Petty, and Demarr Langford, a longtime friend of Joyner, before Joyner himself spoke.

After the ceremony, the party kicked off, with Joyner surrounded by fans wanting his autograph on everything from their phone cases to a prosthetic leg. Joyner 37th birthday coincides with the street renaming. The celebration was even complete with a cake brought by a fan. In a wholesome moment, Joyner let one of his sons blow out the candles.
