Philadelphia brought the heat on the sixth night of the GNX tour. I was lucky enough to attend, with seats in GA right next to the stage’s extended walkway. There was plenty to see from all different angles. With massive LED screens spanning the set, the show was packed with mind-blowing visuals. Lasting nearly three hours, it featured a strong mix of both Kendrick and SZA’s catalogs.

Kendrick performed hits like “TV Off” and “Not Like Us” from his latest album, GNX, giving fans a taste of his most recent work. He also brought back some crowd favorites from earlier projects, including “m.A.A.d city,” “Backseat Freestyle,” and “King Kunta.”

SZA fans were just as thrilled, with performances of standout tracks from her discography such as “Kill Bill” and “Snooze.” The two artists closed out the night in dramatic fashion—climbing into a black Buick GNX and disappearing below the stage.
