Bob Moses bring the party to the Paramount

Bob Moses and Cannons shake Brooklyn

Bob Moses playing Brooklyn Paramount on April 17 felt less like a standard tour stop and more like a massive victory lap. Since the duo essentially got their start in the Brooklyn warehouse scene, seeing them take over such a legendary theater felt like a true “started from the bottom” moment, and the crowd was absolutely there for it.

The duo, consisting of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance, brought the full live-band setup for this run, and honestly, it’s the best way to experience their sound. Tom Howie’s vocals were as smooth as ever, cutting through the heavy bass without losing that signature soulful edge, while Jimmy Vallance stayed locked in behind the gear. Together, they made the transition from indie-rock sensibilities to late-night club energy feel completely seamless. The setlist acted as a journey through their evolution, with newer tracks from BLINK fitting naturally alongside earlier material.
